Amigos de los Niños (ADLN) - a "Mexican Authorized Donataria" - has been the charitable organization of choice in Cabo San Lucas for Sammy Hagar fans (Redheads) wanting to give back to a town and community they fell in love with and call their second home. Through annual fundraising events and countless auctions during Sammy's Birthday Bash week in Cabo, tens of thousands of dollars have been donated by Redheads over the years in support of this great cause!
ADLN provides quality health care in Los Cabos to children up to the age of 18 who have no other means of receiving care or whose healthcare provider is deficient. ADLN assists with arranging for external medical consultations, organizing clinics, and setting up medical treatments for special cases of the severely ill or disabled. Specifically, ADLN raises funds to cover all costs for quality medical care for two programs: (1) ADLN ‘Special Case Children’ of the severely ill and disabled and (2) ‘ADLN Free Clinics’ for the benefit of children in need of dental care; hearing aids; cardio checkups; and referrals for cancer screening, corrective eye surgeries, and other medical specialties as needed.
Club 1013 member Cindi Drafahl enjoyed traveling to Mexico annually for over 30 years (specifically Cabo San Lucas). While in Cabo, she helped to raise funds for her favorite charity - Amigos de los Niños (ADLN). Cindi also collected clothes and toys throughout the year to distribute to the children of Cabo. Mexico was a very special place to her, because it's where she met and cultivated many lifelong friends whom she considered family!
