From 2000 to 2004, Randy served as Vice President of SammyCON, which was a fan-based convention that raised money for children's charities that were endorsed by Sammy Hagar. Randy was honored to contribute trivia questions to Sammy's "Long Road to Cabo" DVD, and he was an "onstage fanatic" for the filming of Sammy's Birthday Bash DVD at the Chicago Theatre.
